Part of Erté's Alphabet series, this piece by the 'father of art deco' depicts an angelic figure shaping swirling pink clouds in to the letter S with the help of a few doves. This pastelle dreamscape is framed simply, letting the art speak for itself. The brushed silver frame harkens back to the era of art deco, classy and a little antique, but the simplistic profile keeps it up to date with the later revivals of Erté's work.
